It seems as though rif was right, my husband's very large, sturdy, heavy, ergonomic desk chair has a broken part. This was a long ways from cheap and it's only been a little over a year since we bought it so I'm brimming mad and won't be buying from them again. He was able to get the part, but we were unsuccessful at fixing it. There was a lot of cursing and hammering and we ended up putting it back together with the broken part so it's semi-usable until we can get the proper tools to fix it. Grrrrrrrrrrr......

yes, i was pleased with yesterday's draw! Not about the chair, which is still irking me, but it's great to have stuff like that show.

Today I got

Constancy - Malady - Merriment

I wasn't sure about this at first so I drew 3 more for clarification and got

Sadness - Misfortune - Fidelity

As my day has gone on, I think the first 3 are showing that I need to stay steady and not lose my temper through the horrible behaviour of my kids, so that we may have happiness at the end of the day. It has been a day of intense meltdown tantrums making us late for school and also having to carry a screaming toddler out of the store b/c I refused to buy her a doll that looks like a hooker. They seem overtired even though they slept good and long last night so I'm a little worried they're coming down with something. Just going to take deep breath and the day will be done in a few short (or very very long) hours.

Yeah, I'd say your cards did a nice job of describing your day! There must be something in the stars because there was havoc here today too. I'm still laughing about the hooker doll lmao

I also agree that the cards were spot on on showing the mood of the day. A hooker-alike doll? That is worse than the monsters they sell nowadays for boys... anyway, I can imagine the scene you had at the store. One of my nephews sometimes behaves like this, but more frequently at home...

This seems pretty literal so I'll just have to wait and see how it shows up.

We had a similar incident yesterday in Target. The doll was a cutesy version of Frankenstein's Bride left over from Halloween. It was on the clearance rack for a good price, so I ended up giving in to the tantrum-- not wise , I know. The next tantrum will be even worse I'm sure, since I gave in this time. [sigh].

I think this last one is validated as Kaph put it. My older daughter was misbehaving and lost a privilege and took it out on her sister by yelling at her pretty badly. We had a big discussion about appropriate ways to let out anger that don't hurt anyone, especially not innocent bystanders.

Misfortune - Death - Falseness

Today I drew

Death - Sadness - House

I always check the bottom card in case it adds and today it was Thief. So it looks like something will be taken from me causing a great deal of sadness in our home. I read for my husband today as well and he had Fortune - Baby - Death. so just another reiteration of the Death card. I sure wish it would leave me alone.

Remember the frequency a card came up in Kaph's daily and then we saw the results. Well, I think that the Death card here is talking to you above the Daily meaning (it wants to show up to let you know that the "changing" you are going through is not only a Daily issue...)

I don't know exactly why I wrote this but that's how I felt when I saw your card...

Hi Cateye,

I get the same feeling as Stanze that the Death card may be trying to tell you something. There could be a big change or transformation coming up for both you and your husband. Big changes can sometimes cause a little sadness or insecurity as we move into something new, but that doesn't mean the change is something bad. Your husband's draw gives me the feeling that it's some kind of blessing or fortunate event that will bring new changes. Wink

Love - Widow - Marriage

My first thought is that I'll hear that someone is going to get married. More likely it means looking within to find the love in my relationship. Maybe this is just a reminder to not forget this as the days frustrations attack.

I did a reading to find what the Death card is trying to tell me. I'll post that in a new thread.

The widow can also represent someone that is not happy (in love) in her relationship (marriage). Maybe someone will tell you that.
