hello everybody,
I fell in love by this deck.As I am at the beginning,I try to learn as much as I can about these cards.I would like to translate from this site: http://www.lenormand.ro/forum/viewforum.php?f=57, some meanings about gypsy cards.I don't have Ester's book so for those who have read her book,it would be interesting to notice if there is a correspondence between her meanings and these ones.
Card No. 1-CONSTANCY
The theme for the card- work.
It indicates constant stability, overcoming difficulties, a stable and durable situation but sometimes pretty boring.surrounded by negative cards may indicate impatience.
Quality-constant, patient, reliable, quiet, sometimes boring.
As time is 1-2 years
Card No. 2-VISIT
1st of all it shows visits, meetings, meetings (and something that comes without notice), an interesting situation, varied, exciting, chaotic, but surprise.
Qualities a communicative person, lively, interesting, exciting, and sometimes even eager.
Card No.3-MESSAGE
It indicates news, but "knowing".The theme for the book. school and studies.ca and characteristics,
Qualities: worship, lettered, wise.It shows a significantly situation.
Card No.4-LETTER

Besides jealousy,it shows envy or malice.As features, we are dealing with people envious, jealous, lack of self confidence.
On one particular situation, we are dealing with something unpleasant, unsatisfactory, an oppressive atmosphere.

Card no. 7-Some money
Is a positive card.
Represents a small amount of money, a slight improvement of financial situation, an increase of salary, bonus.Armonia makes his place a little by little.
Features :a methodical, orderly, modest person. On a situation, it represents something normal,daily situation.
Time-something that happens step by step.

Thank you again for sharing your translated meanings! I've fallen in love with these cards too!
It's interesting that Constancy is used to represent 'work and career.' It makes sense based on the card's meanings-- similar to Lenormand Anchor. I've also seen Officer used to represent work-- I believe that is the association Esther Gombor uses. Officer makes sense too since it represents 'duty' and a man in uniform.
Now I'm going to have to think about which one I want to use to represent work in my own readings.
I think either would work as long as you're consistent.

here are some informations about this card
The Officer-it's a neutral card.It has 2 different meanings.On the one hand it represents the bureaucracy and evrything related to this,on the other hand it represents the lover all those who dress for a uniform for work,a boss, an influenced person.It shows a neat person, honest, reliable, correct, but one and an important situation, the official, bureaucratic.
In love this shows a lover or a formal relationship, but the emotions occupy less important role.It also can show that a relationship will become public.As job it can show working in a public institution or a job where putting on a uniform is required.

Interesting! I get the impression from this description that Constancy would refer to work and career in general, and Officer would refer to a civil service job, or a job that requires a uniform.

Falseness-
It's a negative card. It shows lies, false, wrong behavior, but also stupidity.
Features-dishonesty, liers, wrong beliefs.
Regarding to a situation there is a lack of satisfaction, mistakes, errors.
Time - a wrong time for doing something
Enemy-
It's a negarive card.It represents a woman or a man who wants the 'evil' to the querrent. It indicates hostility, quarrel, scandal, one who is not willing to do a compromise.It shows dangerous situations,excessive alcohol consumption, drug use,a low carefulness for health.
Merriment-
It is certainly a positive card showing happiness,joy,satisfaction, dance,party, creativity.Professionaly speaking there is a nice and friendly enviroment.
Features-funny,merry people.
Time-spring or time to do a particular thing.

THOUGHT CARD
It is a neutral card and it shows the seeker's thoughts,ideas,plans and projects.Occasionaly it can represent another man.
Features we have an individual thinker, calm, balanced, maybe a little introversion or imagination.
Time-between 1 to 4 weeks
THE JUDGE
The card is positive and it shows the spiritual vocation, religion, meditation, soul, higher education (university), psychology but also the magic(in combination with other cards it can show back magic)
It can be a priest, a teacher, a spiritual guide. Features-interest in spirituality, wise, religious, but sometimes arrogant.
On a sentimental plan it shows a deep understanding (to understand without speaking)
Professionally it shows vocation for their job.
THE MONEY
Is a positive card, it concerns over money, wealth, luxury, a gain, shares, artwork, jewelry. it is expressed the notion of "more,abundance".

I'm using the Gipsy cards, actually I feel a sort of attachement to them...I think they're "special"..
I've got some back ups for the Costancy card as far as timing is conerned.....it's something that is going to last, for good or for bad!!

Love card
It is a positive card regarding to love,feelings and the fact of being in love.
Features: lovely,affectionate,sympathetic,romantic.
Regarding to work.it shows the person love his job and he's satisfied.
This card announces a new love or a relationship relaunches.
Journey card
It is a card that shows a journey or travel but also it is the index of changes,physical activity and sport,a situation that is put in motion.It refers to vehicles.
Features:flexible,sportiv,travel lover.This card can predict an unknown person.
Desire card
It's a neutral card.It shows the nostalgy,desires that are expected to come true.
In love it shows that the seeker feels alone but if there are positive cards nearby than the desire will be fulfilled.
Professionally or financially matters,the card shows dissatisfaction and the desires can't be achieved for the moment.
Features:the person described by this card is patient,nostalgic.
Timing:about 6 months
Death card
It is a neutral card.It shows that a situation ends,a very important change,not necessary bad.It shows the inheritances and retirement.
Features:it shows a quiet person,sad,very interested in spirituality.
Timing:very long time,Easter
Sadness card
It's a negative card indicating the sadness,pain,dissepointment,depression,sometimes loneliness
Timing:past
It is a positive card regarding to love,feelings and the fact of being in love.
Features: lovely,affectionate,sympathetic,romantic.
Regarding to work.it shows the person love his job and he's satisfied.
