Gypsy Fortune Telling Cards - Triange Spread

Hi gang!

I decided to try an actual spread with the Gypsy Fortune Telling Cards-- this is my first attempt at a trying a spread with these wonderful cards. The spread I'm using is called The Triangle Spread, and I borrowed it from the preview of Esther Gambor's Book, Fortune Telling with Gypsy Cards.

The spread is designed to pick up the "energies, feeling and events for a period of six months," so no specific question is asked, and no significator card chosen for this spread. Here are the cards that came up:

1. House
   
2. Sadness
   
3. Merriment
   
4. Judge
   
5. Lover
   
6. Love
   
7. Ecclestiastic

The card in the center of the spread (card #7) represents feelings that have been occupying my mind recently, or describes a dominant feature of my character. Ecclestiastical suggests spirituality or religion. I'm not a religious person, but I do consider myself to be spiritual, and spiritual matters have occupied my mind lately. Perhaps this card simply indicates that I should keep faith regardless what may be going on around me.

Cards 1 and 2 reveal the recent past, and House + Sadness would clearly suggest some sadness in the home. I'm having trouble relating to these cards since other than a nasty cold that's being passed around, the atmosphere at home has been relatively happy and peaceful. Perhaps the Sadness card refers to the lady of the house, and it could be that she has been hiding her sadness from me. Definitely something to consider further!

Something else just occurred to me... perhaps the sadness is not in the home, but about the home. Recently we've been discussing again the possibility of making a physical move.

Cards 3 and 4 reveal what is happening now, Judge makes me think of someone judgemental or controling, but merriment seems to be a very positive card. Perhaps Judge indicates 'weighing a situation' and the outcome is positive. Again this could relate to our weighing the pros and cons regarding a possible move, and perhaps making the right decision.

Cards 5 and 6 reveal the future trend for up to six months. Love and Love are excellent cards. Love seems to win overcome whatever issues may be present. I've read somewhere that Lover is the significator card that represents the male querent in a reading, so he probably represents me. So whatever the issues surrounding me, love will conquer all!

I dunno... I can't shake the feeling that I'm missing something important here. Does anyone see something in these cards that I'm missing?

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and insights regarding my reading!

It's true that I have been feeling out of sorts lately, and my wife has been pushing for us to sell our home and move closer to her family since she lost both her parents recently, and wants to be closer to her brothers. I'm not sure that this would be the best situation for us, and it has been weighing very heavily on my mind.

I'm very happy to know that I will ultimately make the right decision, and the end result will be positive!

Hi Stanze,

I think this reading had mostly to do with what was on my mind at the time. No decision regarding a move or relocation as of yet, but it's still something we talk about.
