Emotionally the acceptance of the past, penitence and absolution, spiritual freedom, the card indicates the turning toward the future. It also represent a vital and blessed event in the future. The Ecclesiastic card indicates to the inquirer that it is important to deal with matters that have been previously put aside in order to advance to new successes.
So in the tradition, it is not only about faith but absolution and forgiveness. It's also pointing towards something significant in the person's life that may manifest. Personally I find that to be too deep for a daily but who knows? Maybe I will be presently surprised.
Hi Contessa,
I find that in my work I come across so many people who are holding on to the anger and resentment from past relationships. The inability to accept, release and forgive is preventing them from moving forward and manifesting love and abundance in their lives. Ecclesiastic seems to define this issue so clearly for me now! It does seem too deep for a daily draw, but I suppose that on some days these issues may surface more strongly than on other days.
I tend to draw Ecclesiastic often in my own draws, and this gives me much food for thought!
Thank you for sharing these insights!

Please let us updated if something happens that can be related to!

Interesting that you point out people's tendencies to carry baggage. I agree with your thought process entirely. So many people tend to become stuck fretting about things that they cannot control and can no longer change (of course I am not proud to admit I can be one of them). Letting go of the past so I could enjoy the now and what is to come was a wonderful lesson that my husband shared with me. HA! Maybe I will start calling him "the Priest".
I am so happy this happened. I don't think this card will irk me as much going forward
