Another "no-layout" layout

Hi all

I tried to do a reading today for a friend of mine. She wanted to know whether a guy she likes has any interest in her as well. So I asked the following question.

"What are X's intentions towards Y?"

I got:



Since the Ring is next to him on his left, it seems that our guy is currently unavailable. Probably he is involved with someone who is not local and he travels a lot. I am not sure about the fox here. Could it possibly mean that his gf is not loyal to him or that would be him?

Now the future confuses me a bit. It could be that the guy is interested in my friend but with the coffin and the book he is suppressing and hiding his feelings because of his current status?

Treppner interprets Stars+Coffin as a successful new start after a crisis. I could also think of it as if he splits up with his current gf and starts over anew with my friend but keep their relationship as a secret.

What do you think?

I don't have a good feeling in this spread. I agree with your interpretation that he's hiding something (the book) and that he's not being loyal to your friend (fox). He's probably married or have a relationship (ring) and he's cheating both (fox) playing here and there (ship).

If you have asked about his intentions the Stars could be reflecting the situation for him. It seems perfect as he can play here and there but I think things can finish as soon as your friend discovers what he is hiding.

Treppner's interpretations sometimes don't consider the place of the cards. I would accept this description (succes after changes) if the cards were placed in the other way (coffin+stars). It makes more sense to me.

I have the same feeling as Stanze.This guy is hidding something.The fact that the ring appeared next to his card reveals he is already involved in a relationship.For me star+coffin means the end of a dream,indifference and coffin+book-rejection.
