Oh, that´s great! I was very unsure how it fits. But now it make sense! Letter - house - child: How you already said. This conversation is about the new house. I don´t know how I shall attach the dog. Perhaps it´s a real dog or a man or your instinct.

You shouldn´t excuse! I have so many questions about playing cards and you all have a helping hand!
To look to the futur of the relationship, I look to te left card beside and make a KK. So it´s letter KK house. To go deeper you can look in which house the letter and the house is.
So, letter - house: you look your values about stability, status and assets and you costruct new one. (the letter say for me I´ll construct a new one).
Letter in the house of tower: Intention for a split.
House in the house of fox: It´s not any more what your understanding is about stability/ home/ assets.

Hm, that´s the question. That was a bad example your the way of houses because there were only two cards. So thereá an other method.
I take the cards beween park and ring:
mice - fox - letter - ring - tower - storks - stars - park
To mice/ fox/ letter I said about it already above.
Tower/ stork/ stars: It´s about the split and you don´t must be worried. Your change will be successful and this change will be at best and you can something clear up with your husband.

That´s very easy. You move e.g. the book next to the lilly. Every card is in the same house like in the 4x8-spread.
For the further future I take a carrée e.g. dog - ring - mice - stars:
A deep friendship or a relationship becomes to a friendship. Your marriage will be divide.

Then there´s an other "trick" to get bottom line of this GT:

I would read these cards like that:
A invitation/ event is responsible for implications and frustrations. You can´t go ahead. In this case I don´t read the ring as relationship. I read the ring as a contract. You are frustrated that a contract can´t be signed. The (signing of the) contract will be delayed. And sonn there will come good news.

I have small questions:
what do you do with the first 4 cards at the bottom of the 8X4 spread? And what was exactly the meaning of changing a 8X4 in a 9x4? Only to get confirmation?
And how much important is the bottom row formed with the picked up cards from the tableau?

Sorry for all these questions. I just want to understand the mechanism of changing the tableau instead of beginning with a 9X4.

Yes, for me it´s for to get confirmation and it´s more future than 8x4.

I´m happy when I can answer. But I can only tell what I do. Other people have other methods and it´s also right!
For me 8x4 fits better to get the near and further future. The 9x4 it´s better for me to see how things develop. But I experiment like you. I do exercise a lot and look what fits for me.

the last 4 cards are the destiny-cards. That means that this will definitely come true.
But there are many possibilities how to interprete...I can you show two possibilities.

You can combine in this case cross and clover = a short-time burden/ encombrance, but with a positive outcome. Than you look at storks and tower. This a short-time burden/ encombrance have to do with a change into a split and to become independent. It´s grave change (stork + cross) and the split will come soon rather is not a "bad split" (I hope you know what I mean). This will come very fast, faster than you except (because of the cross).
Flower and heart say to me that there will happen positive things to you or s.o. will come to visit and you are about it. It can be a good old friend (flower with tree).

Then you can combine rider with ship = decampment. But when you look at crossroads and coffin, I would say that you don´t want to make a/ this decision rather this decision is very hard for you. Oh, scythe and moon, first I want you to ask: How do your husband feel about it? I looks like a depression?

A second method I know (but I don´t practice) is that you don´t make combine:
1.) the next 3 months = next time is very important and intensiv for you (cross)
2.) the next 6 months = you will feel good. You will have good luck and everyting/ most things are easy (clover).
3.) the next 9 months = good news. You go ahead and your troubles will have an end (rider).
4.) the next 12 months = you need your freedom. You will make a trip (perhaps no real but an inner change). A real change will come (ship).

I hope some of you are still wanting to study this more. I want to learn this better so I drew one and will work my way through it, though I imagine it will take a few days of contemplation and editing. I read to read the cut draw and then restack and lay out the spread, so I did that, but after the first cut read I did my thoughts wandered and I accidentally started shuffling again. So after a few choice words I finished shuffling, did a second cut draw and laid out the spread. I'll post both cut draws and I just wish I had the original layout. This was not focused on any specific area and I gave it a time limit of 1 month.

With my cards, my Gent faces right, Lady faces left and the Clouds are the opposite orientation as on these cards.

And here I go, stumbling my way through...

1st cut draw - the end of a traumatic time with someone deceptive or cunning

2nd cut draw - decisions and discussions regarding the traumatic time or event

1st card - Dog - loyalty, friendship. Is this supposed to focus on me or on an influence in my life?

Four corners - Dog, Scythe, Stork, Paths - maybe there is a friendship ending, changes and a decision need to be made

Topping me (Lady) - Dog, Tree, Fish - Money will need to be spent on health issues. If add the Rider then this will happen quickly or in a short amount of time.

Touching me (Lady) - Letter, Tree, Owls, Clover - good news about health, possibly involving more than one person or multiple communications

That's what I've got for now. I'll be back after a cup of tea and with a fresh look.

Also, I'm thinking of getting Treppner's course, as it seems to be the one source that everyone seems to like and respect. I saw that she has a cheaper program as well as a more expensive program. Is it worth the extra money for the full course?
