Help with a spread and direct question
Hi guys.
I was in need of some help to find a good question and a spread.
There is some money missing at work. There is an internal investigation going on. All departments are being looked at. As I am manager of one department, I want to cover our butts, but I know the finger is being pointed more our way becasue we are the main department responsible for recieving money. I was away on sick leave for 6months, I had an acting manager in my place. It was within one month after that, that they first noticed the inconsitency in the books figures.
Everyone is accusing everyone.
I have some inside information, not sure if it is relevant within the time frame they are looking at, but I breifly mentioned it to the accountant. I am not trying to accuse this person in any way, but it is just some information that may shed some light on the investigation, but some very bad light on her. I don't want to do that, as I don't have solid facts. But I also want to protect me and my staff.
Is there a spread to find out where the money went, or who took it, or where to look for answers? ( without me having to do the finger pointing too...)
I don't have a precise enough question either....
I am going to post this in the PC section as well...
Thank you everyone!
