Would you please explain the differences between the Zigeuner and the Cigany Kartya? Are they different or the same basic set of gypsy cards?
I like these Gypsy Lenormand cards. They make a nice change. Thanks for posting them!
Cateye
Hi Cateye ~ The "Zigeuner" cards are printed in Aurstria
and the "Cigany" are printed in Hungary. A lot alike! ~Arlo

I really like the Cigany Kartya images. I've also seen this deck with titles in English only, rather than the six languages. These are on my wish list!

Re: Images - 36 Gypsy Oracle Cards
There is a seller on ebay with the Cigany Kartya for $10 shipped. I ordered the Zigeuner but they sent me Gypsy Witch instead. I'm waiting to hear back from them. :-(
Thanks for posting the images Arlo! They do look very similar. I'm doing your reading now and will try to have it posted before I have to go out again in a little bit.

To further confuse things
here's the Biedermeier, which is almost the same as the Ziguener:

And there's a deck that Kaph uses, Biedermeier with some cards added, I forget the name...

Yep, that's Le Carte della Fortuna by Modiano. All of the Biedermeier illustrations are featured in mirror image on this deck! Very strange!

There's no point in me even trying to resist. I know eventually I'm going to go look for them so I might just as well do it now.
