OK I was looking through them and had to ask my husband what Verge actually meant, as it doesn't seem the right word for whips/rod. Well apparantly it is since it is the official word for the head of the penis lolol. Um quite interesing lol. Thought I would share my morning choke over my tea moment lol.

butt Lenormand

Post  BarbarellaE on Tue Oct 06, 2009 9:30 am

Hi, all.

I just found a deck I've not encountered in my Lenormand travels: the butt lenormand. Now, aside from the silly humor of the translated acronym, this deck has lovely pictures, I think:

I've also found the Isabel's Traum (Isabel's dream?) deck:

It's also rather lovely...the pictures have a blurred effect, truly as if one were looking through the haze of dream.

Just wondered what you guys think of these decks. Me, I'm too broke right now for another deck...but a gal can dream.

Hi Barb,

I like the A.S.S. Lenormand very much-- it's on my ever-growing wish list. Smile

I'm not as fond of the Isabel Traum. I know it's very popular, but that dreamy haziness doesn't do it for me.

At the top of my list is the Nieuwe Lenormand by Erna Droesbeke. I'm also dying to get my hands on her Tarot of Isis oracle deck!

But alas! My purse strings have been snipped, so there won't be any new decks for a while. Sad

I own both the Traum and A.S.S. packs. I have to admit that I like the latter much better. I like the imagery of the Traum deck but I don't connect with it as well as I thought I would. I also dislike the clouds card in the A.S.S. I'm not sure why, it just irritates me for some odd reason. It looks rather sloppy I suppose.

Anyway - just my 2 cents. I use the blue and white owls most often. In fact I had to re-order another blue owl deck because it wasn't wearing well. I wish someone would produce a nice deck with gilding on the edges. I would pay extra money for it. So aggravating when a deck starts to fray.

Word filters are a riot. Somewhere, some collector who HAS to have every single Lenormand deck ever made, is frantically looking for a Butt Lenormand.

And that is a riot.
