Please help me interpret this, doesn't look good :(

A quick summary:
There is an internal investigation going on after our year end inventory, the auditor is missing money that cannot be accounted for. All departments are being looked at, but my department is the main one responsible for recieving money, therefore they are looking at my department mainly. We have a new accountant, and she is changing the way things are being done. So it is either her way of changing things, or my input into the computer.

I struggled with this, but I charged the Fish for the money, because I wanted to leave the Bear to represent Management, if it showed up.
I debated charging the Lady for the accountant...but decided not to.

I used the cross spread.

Where will we find the missing money at work.

ohhhh, at first look, it looks like I'm the guilty one!?? Help!

Surrounding the FISH
Overall it looks like there have been some changes made to the way the money is handled, but it also looks like it has been a chronicle problem for awhile. Looks like a slow build up to this problem
It also looks like change is in progress of hopefully finding this obstacle
or missing money.

A) Vertical line: info about the current situation related to the question:
Mountain + Fish + Stars
Well, it relates to the Q because it is talking about not being able to see the money, the blockage. But there is hope of finding it with patience and preseverence.

B) Left are the past events that led up to this situation:
Child + Clover + Stork
We were very lucky to have this new accountant/auditor take over, and change some things up, it made some good changes. It was a lucky opportunity for us to progress.

C) Right are the probable future
Lady + Snake + Whip
Eeeeeek, if the lady is me, then it looks like I'm causing the problems and distrustful!!! And there is going to be alot of disucussion causing some arguements and disputes!
If I had charged the Lady as the accountant then I may have read it as her being distrustful.
But I KNOW I didnt' do it! Not intentionally!

D) The last card will tell the outcome.

A distressing situation, a chronic problem, some heated discussions.

Question:
Can the SNAKE be the lady accountant ?
With the WHIP will we have disputes with each other over it?
The WHIP is also a writing tool

I have to go to work and check my computer now!

Any insight and help please!?

Hi midnight,

I'm not an expert in Lenormand and sometimes I really find it very difficult to read it strainght.

Anyway, considering lots of technics you can also see the Lady as someone that deals with work and is smart, so it could be the accountant but it also could be someone else who works at the financial dept.

Just some extra thoughts,

Hi Midnight,

I'm not familiar with this spread, so I want to study it before I offer comments. But something that occurs to me right away is that I would expect any foul play to show up in the cards that denote the past events leading up to the present situation.

These cards give me the impression that something innocent (Child) and unplanned (Clover) occurred because of the changes (Storks) that were implemented. If there was any deception, sneakiness, theft, etc., I would have expected it to show up here. The mistake doesn't appear to be intentional.

It looks to me like the manipulations and disagreements are going to happen as a result of the investigation-- perhaps people trying to cover their butts-- whether it was intentional or not, someone is responsible. These cards may be warning you not to trust the accountant (although as Stanze points out, this could be any other woman who is involved) to have your back in this situation.

Very interesting your point, Kaph, reg. the past: not intentional and caused by the changes. I think if this was not the case we could also expect the fox to appear here.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Or even if the Snake appeared in the past instead of the probable future-- since for me it can indicate deception.

I really hope the investigation concludes that this was an unintentional error, and I hope the money is recovered. [fingers crossed for Midnight]

Thank you for helping me with this, and being kind with your words about the blame....

I keep thinking what Rif said before,that when the Lady or Man show up, it is ALWAYS the querent unless charged otherwise.

These cards give me the impression that something innocent (Child) and unplanned (Clover) occurred because of the changes (Storks) that were implemented. If there was any deception, sneakiness, theft, etc., I would have expected it to show up here. The mistake doesn't appear to be intentional.

I like the way you interpreted this, that makes sense. I'm not sure how far back the Past would indicate though. The changes in accounting only happened the begining of this year.

And I was also waiting for the Fox to appear, and also the books to indicate it was "just in the books, accounting error"
And I always think of Bear as management in a work related question.

This is the way I was interpreting it too, and why I thought I'd be the blame as the lady!!

So could you say that the Snake could still possibly represent a different woman? Or would it always describe the Woman card beside it? ( the accountant and auditor are both women)

Well like the WHIP predicted, it has errupted in heated disputes so far! I'm in the middle of it (maybe why the lady showed up?)

Yes, in the traditional methods, Lady always represents the female querent. But if you're charging one or more key cards for your spread, and you don't charge Lady to represent yourself, it's possible she can represent someone else (based on Sylvie's method).

I'm not familiar with the Spread, so I'm not sure either. In most cases, the cards indicating past influences will refer to the past in direct relation to the question.

I think either interpretation could work. I tend to think of Snake as describing Lady since the cards fall side-by-side, but I think it's also possible that these cards could represent two women.

I'm not surprised about the heated disputes-- no doubt everyone is trying to cover their butts! Smile

Sure, Lady could represent you. Do you have any gut feelings about who Lady represents in this spread? Usually these kinds of questions would need to be resolved by intuition. This is why I like the multi-level No-Layout so much-- I charge multiple key cards so that there is no question about who is who in the readings. Smile

I don't know if this helps or not but I remember in a reading for a friend,we drew Lady+ Snake.The next events revealed that the Snake represented another woman she was working with.My friend is working in accountacy and that combination showed my friend and that woman regularize some accountacy documents.
