I am not forcing myself to do readings! Very Happy I am just surprised that anyone would want to read them!

This being a new deck I haven't seen and interpreted every card yet........ so I am keeping going. I just don't want to annoy anyone by over doing the thread.

I am also hoping to entice someone else into getting this beautiful deck..........

Even if people don't have the deck, just the insights on how another person reads, is valuable!

Read One card reading

Post  sally_flower on Tue Apr 21, 2009 6:05 pm

I drew just one card today. I am about to start applying a new technique at work that I have been reading about and I wanted some reassurance that this was the right time and I was going in the right direction.

I drew card 18 'shadow' ( tarot major arcana the moon)

This card shows 2 robed men facing each other. They look like identical twins. The twin on the left is in shadow and has the moon behind his head. The twin on the right is in golden light and has the sun behind his head. The are both holding the same golden staff

This card shows that there are two sides to every person and situation. It represents the emotions and being sensitive to the fact that nothing in life stands still. This is a world of constant flux and one thing is certain - everything changes. This card suggests that now is the time when you may have to face the shadow and your worst fears. You must learn to confront what you have avoided and walk courageously through it knowing that life naturally revitalises itself and you.

There is an intensity to your psychic abilities at this time. Your body is one big psychic antennae and you are in control of how high or low you want the reception to be. Mother earth can assist you in this period of change, sensitivity and healing.

Well I would say that the card is very accurate on how I am feeling so it seems it is time for me to get some courage and forge ahead!pale

So far the cards have given me uncannily good advice and I am very impressed with them.

Read one card draw

Post  sally_flower on Thu Apr 23, 2009 4:10 am

My elderly relative has been very much on my mind in the last few days and I decided to have another look at her situation.

I am only drawing one card due to lack of time.

the card I drew was Hope - Major arcana the star

This card shows a person from the waist down their outstretched cupped hands are gently cradling a ball of intense yellow and white light. This radiates out from the centre ending in many spikes of light. The outer circle of the ring of light has a pattern to it. It could be a circle of small people - they look like tiny cut out paper dolls joined at the feet. rising out of the centre is a shimmering person very indistinct but a human shape.

This card indicates that you hold the universe - paper chain people and light- in your hand and you are also at the centre of the universe or your power - person in the centre. This card focuses on the qualities hope, faith, healing, aspirations, success and enlightenment. Also that a special wish that you have made may be fulfilled in time (wishing on a star). The hope card tells you that the impossible is possible. The universal force that works through you - the power of your belief- determines what is possible and is the difference of success over failure. It comes from the very essence of who you are -person n the centre of the light.

The hope card is also a reminder to use our natural ability of intuition as you reach for your goal or desire which will guide you with love.

The future can be yours when you have hope and trust in everything you do. Your inner light will attract others. Learn to share your experiences and life lessons with love so that others who lack hope may be inspired to ignite their own. This is the key to success.

The most important thing is to maintain a positive attitude in everything, which will enable you to reach for the stars.

I am greatly cheered by this card that could equally apply to my last question as well as my relative. A good start to a busy day!!

Sally:flower:

Later - well things are looking up and I AM much more hopeful of the situation. It seems my relative needed my attention and some input to help change her energy too. This will have to be an ongoing process.

sally_flower wrote:A different question again today. Smile

I was asked to test something and give my opinion. I found this quite difficult to do and was trying not to be biased.

I drew three cards .

The first card was 9 Solitude (Tarot Hermit)
An interesting card which shows a kneeling woman, she is kneeling on what appears to be sand. She is wearing an indigo dress. On her outstretched palms is a large book with writing on one page but not the other. Behind her is a column or a tower this could be a a relic of some ancient temple, it has a blue light shining out of the top. in the back ground is a range of mountains. The sun is setting behind the mountains and the evening star is all on it's own in the sky. There is no sign of plant life in the picture.

This card tells me that although I am on my own for this one. I have my intuition (indigo dress) to use and also the book of knowledge in my hands. This is still in the process of being written and what comes next is up to me. There is some ancient wisdom to call upon (the tower) and the universe is also there to help (evening star). It may feel as though there is a mountain to climb but the sun is just over the ridge

The second card was 15 Temptation (Tarot The Devil)
A strange card. This shows the torso of a bald muscular man There is what appears to be long curling strands of hair which look like hands or hooks that he is either escaping from or he is being pulled down by. His left hand is over his solar plexus where The skin has a key hole marked on it. His right hand out stretched towards a bright silver disc which looks like a shooting star but is also the top of an old fashioned key. His head is looking in two directions towards the key and out of the card at you but there is a lot of movement here as though his head is moving back and forth very quickly. The back ground to this card is a glowing red.

The key hole in the chest refers to the key in the background and the shooting star is the universe. That is what he should be reaching for. That would give him the strength he needs. But like Samson he has lost his hair and is showing weakness by looking away and being tempted by something in the physical world indicated by red.
This tells me that I have to be absolutely honest in my opinion and not be tempted just to give the opinion I think the others want to hear.

The final card was the Solar Plexus chakra card

The solar plexus carries on the meaning from the last card and is all about fear. I must not be afraid of the outcome.

Well that seems fairly straight forward.

On with the opinion then!

Sally

Well I gave my opinion honestly - but with kindness - and the world did not come crashing around my ears and I feel that it went very well. What is that saying? You have nothing to fear but fear itself? It is so true! - Oh and yes they are still speaking to me.Very Happy

Read changes at work

Post  sally_flower on Tue Apr 28, 2009 8:44 am

I did a star spread today.

There is a new piece of equipment due to arrive which I have been waiting for impatiently. This was bought at my instigation as I thought it just amazing. I have read the manual on it's use and can't wait to get started. But now I am having doubts that it is the right thing for me. So my question was is this piece of equipment going to turn out to be as good as I think, have I done the right thing in ordering it and promoting it?

Rather long winded!

The first card - The nature of the question was 8 physical (tarot 8 of coins) Positive Movement Forward
It shows someone setting sail alone in a boat towards the rising sun. There is a bird in the front which could be leading the way. As a number 8 card 8= control. Your hand is on the tiller and you are in control.
So it seems you are heading in a direction that you want to go and you are very much in control. You are the true artisan, for you have the craft, skills, knowledge and talent to assist you even more to advance in a positive direction. 8 is the number of prosperity and abundance but in this case it is your efforts that have got you to this point. This card honours and recognises people who are in the fields of art design, music and education. When you follow and build on your passion the soul can truly express itself and assist you in moving towards your higher good. An offer may come up of an apprenticeship. Take note of any areas of passion that may manifest in your world. You will have ample moments to share them with others.

Gosh what an interesting card.......... so my artistic talents feed my spiritual self. I suppose I knew that but not in so many words.

The second card - The reason for the question 15 Temptation (Tarot Devil)
A strange card. This shows the torso of a bald muscular man There is what looks to be long curling strands of hair which look like hands or hooks that he is either escaping from or he is being pulled down by. His left hand is over his solar plexus. The skin has a key hole marked on it.

This tells me that I am in two minds and I will have to be brave and not be tempted to turn my back on this project.

The third card - contributing factor or additional information to be considered - 7 emotional (Tarot 7 of cups) - Choose Wisely
This card shows a wooden jetty the image is below as though you were looking down from about 40 feet. There is a person on the end of the jetty with hands palm up and together outstretched. The water is blue but there are 5 hands and forearms reflected in the water pointing outwards from the jetty.

The first hand points to the left hand edge of the card and is a right hand palm up with the fingers and thumb together.

The second hand points to the left hand top corner of the card and is a left hand palm up but with a closed fist.

The third hand which is pointing straight ahead is a right hand palm down with the index finger pointing straight ahead.

The fourth hand points to the right hand top corner and is a left hand held straight and turned on edge thumb on top.

The fifth hand points to the right hand edge of he card and is a left hand and has the little and ring finger folded underneath and the middle, index finger and thumb straight out.

There are two golden birds flying towards the sun at the top left of the card.

The obvious interpretation of this card are that there are many directions you could choose to go in but only one of them is the right one. It indicates that there is a goal that you want to achieve but too many choices, scattered energies, and unrealistic expectations that are preventing you attaining what you desire. There may appear to be powerful options around but ultimately it is you who has all the influence and the power and in reality you are in control and responsible for all the choices you make.
Take time to think analyze and carefully look at the possibilities that are in front of you.

Ok I can see how this is valuable information.

The fourth card - answer to the question or advice 9 Emotional (Tarot 9 of cups) - Fulfillment of Wishes
It looks as though I shall get the desired outcome. The picture says a lot more. It shows a wise old man standing on a leaf haloed by golden light. He carries a rolled up scroll in the crook of his elbow and is sniffing a flower. At his feet is a chest which is slightly open showing the golden light that it within. On either side, and behind him are two great waterfalls. This a place of peace and life. The scrolls represent knowledge, the flower is the blossom of a life, the chest is the treasure that we all store up through a lifetime. The waterfall also is a symbol of life and the flow is strong. The plant that the man is standing on is both still growing and is healthy, fed by the water. This looks a beautiful place to be.
This card shows me that I have the knowledge, wisdom, and energy to do what I need to to do. The outcome will be based on all the things that have happened in my life that have been stored away waiting for me to open the chest and use the contents.

What a brilliant card! a definite yes to the question I feel.

The final card which is the outcome is 9 (tarot hermit) Solitude
Shows a kneeling woman, she is kneeling on what appears to be sand. She is wearing an indigo dress. On her outstretched palms is a large book with writing on one page but not the other. Behind her is a column or a tower this could be a a relic of some ancient temple, it has with a blue light shining out of the top. in the back ground is a range of mountains.

It may feel as though there is a mountain to climb but the sun is just over the ridge.

This card speaks of you being on your own. It is a time to be alone and look inside and shut out the commotion of the outer world for a while so your can reevaluate and reflect on your life, connecting to your spiritual self (violet border to the card) and your life purpose. The indigo dress indicates that you can tap into the book of universal knowledge with your intuition or third eye. The book of life and knowledge is still in the process of being written and you are about to write the next page - your life is in your hands but now is the time to just be quiet with yourself and give the spiritual side a chance to speak to you. The ancient wisdom or knowledge that you can call on is also reinforced by the tower. The universe is also there to help (evening star). It may feel as though the mountains separate you from where you want to be but the sun is just over the ridge and will be ready for you after you have taken some time out.

So when was anything I do ever easy?? Yes, I get the message, I'm on my own and must take control of and responsibility for what I am doing and everything will come out as I wish.

Right......... just wait patiently for the equipment to arrive then:bop:

After having to curb my impatience - which I found extremely difficult - the equipment I ordered has finally arrived!hooray

I used it a few times with mixed results, which I found disappointing.

However, going back to the reading it very much points to the fact that I am on my own, the one who has to take control of this situation and the one who has to make it work to create the results I want.

So with that in mind I am going to have to create the opportunities for lots of practice, monitor the results and get comfortable with how it all works.

I remain optimistic!

Optimism seems to have been appropriate. Practice is beginning to have the desired results and although there is a long way to go the machine is really starting to make a noticeable difference. So I can now heave a sigh of relief and relax - and keep reading the manual of course!

Read one card draw

Post  sally_flower on Fri May 08, 2009 1:26 pm

Just needed a quick directional reading today. I have a decision to make and needed a bit of guidance. I drew 3 spiritual (Tarot 3 of wands) Partnerships and alliances

This card shows a woman’s forearm descending from the top left corner of the card and a man’s forearm ascending from the bottom right. The arms are along side each other and the hands are grasping the others forearm just above the wrists.

The female arm is clothed in a green sleeve edged in gold. She is wearing a silver bangle. The male arm is powerful, and unclothed but there is a tattoo going around the forearm of rectangles and squares - looks like a ring of standing stones.

There are triangular banners in the background a blue one behind the woman's arm and a pink one flapping upwards behind the man’s arm. The blue banner is on a green ground and the pink banner is on an orange/yellow ground.

This card speaks of opposite strengths aiding each other. Male /female, blue/pink.

The colours green = emotional, orange = second chakra sexuality and creativity, the purple border points to the spiritual side of this card. The fruits of your labour are beginning to bring results There is still
a lot to do and there is a need to watch out for synchronicities which
could bring opportunities for unexpected alliances which may create
something new. These could be of great assistance in future projects.

Three is the number of mental strength. There is also a need to keep an open mind when listening to others as success can come in many forms and from unlikely sources.

Although it would usually be expected for the Male strength to dominate the card the female is equally strong so there is balance. With all partnerships there has to be an even exchange of energy so
that you do not give too much and your partner gives too little. This
unequalness will leave you feeling drained and lead to potential
disharmony. There must be overall balance to work and blend together
for optimum results.

Well this is very appropriate - as there are two of us at the centre of the decision. Seems I have to make sure that we work in equal partnership to keep things heading in the right direction. I must also keep my eyes and intuition open to what the universe may be throwing across my path.

Hi Sally,

Beautiful explication and interpretation of this card! I continue to be impressed by how insightful and meaningful this Tarot deck is for you.

Are you familiar with John Holland's mediumship work? I've listened to a few of his radio shows on Hay House Radio, and I think he's very talented. A friend of mine had a reading with him, and she was completely blown away.

I have to admit that I've been a little skeptical of the many oracle card decks that have flooded the market the past few years-- particularly those from Hay House, but I'm convinced that there's something magical about Psychic Tarot Deck.

I'm not a huge fan of working with Tarot, but this deck is still on my wishlist. Wink

Hi Kaph

I knew nothing of John Holland when I first saw this deck on Amazon. I was just 'on the browse' having moved on from my faerie oracle deck, which I had found to be too enigmatic. I also was not fan of reversals.

I have collected several tarot and oracle decks all of which I found either too complicated to learn or not 'speaking' to me.

I spent a long time reading reviews and reading about John and finally found a few pictures of the cards. That was what sold it to me, they 'spoke' to me loud and clear.

I was very pleased with the cards from the first but still mightily skeptical! However all the readings I have done both here and for friends and family have been so far incredibly accurate (Quite spooky at times).

I am still learning more about the deck and have not yet drawn every card but some are becoming good friends and turn up on a regular basis. I love the fact that he has included numerology - which I use a lot - and chakra cards. So this was the right deck for me - at last!

Yes, I think you are right there is something magical about this deck and although that can be kind of scary it is also very wonderful.

I hope you get to see this deck for real one day!Very Happy

Read Another reading about the new machinery!

Post  sally_flower on Sun May 17, 2009 9:38 am

OK here we go again. I have reached the point where the machinery/equipment is beginning to work as I would wish but there are minor tweeks and adjustments that I need to make so that I am more comfortable with it's use.

It is good not to feel so much the novice but before heading out on my own I would like to get some extra reassurance.

I did a 3 card draw for this

The first card refers to the past - 2 mental ( tarot 2 of swords)

Mental conflict

This card shows the head of a middle aged bald man. He is looking straight out of the card but not directly at the viewer. His eyes have a withdrawn slightly dreamy look as though thinking. The top right hand quarter of the skull above the right eye has been cut away to reveal a smaller version of the same man looking out of the opening. This small head is red. The patterns in the on the left hand side of background are geometrical shapes in greens, oranges and blues. On the right hand side of the background the pattern is curly organic lines and the colours are yellow, green, and purple.

This is a man in two minds about something. The patterns refer to the logical, left (geometric) side of the brain and the spiritual (organic) side. The colours are quite significant too. greens and oranges are the heart and the second (creative) chakra and points to the fact the head is trying to rule the heart with logic. The Red of the inner man is the tribal, grounded part of him. This is attached to the organic spiritual side although the yellow colour is all to do with the solar plexus this also has to do with fear and love. The purple is his connection to the universe and the world around him and green this time is the heart ruling the head.

The number 2 in numerology is to do with sensitivity, empathy and intuition.

This card is all about self doubt and the inability to move forward. Self doubt comes from indecisiveness, or not being able to take action with a person, group or situation in my life. It may not be an easy decision but then I am already aware of this. It is time to remember that I have the strength, courage and power to deal with the situation. When the decision is finally made and action taken there will be a sense of mental relief as a resolution is forthcoming.

There is a need to take advice that is available and listen both to people whose opinions you respect as well as my intuition. There is a need to believe in myself and find that peace and harmony that can be mine.

Right, I can relate so well to this card this is the turmoil I had after ordering this expensive equipment and all the doubts that followed - that I had perhaps railroaded the project through and it was not going to turn out as I had hoped!!

Onto the second card which refers to the present

I drew 2 physical - tarot 2 of coins

Movement, Choices, Decisions

This car shows a large curved wall. The wall is made of a yellow coloured stone and has 5 arched openings. Each opening has a different glowing colour as a background, the light from the glow extends upwards above the wall into a deep purple / indigo sky. The far arch is orange, the next is golden yellow, next is magenta, followed by green and lastly pale blue.

The yellow archway has gold coins falling towards the ground. The magenta archway shows 2 gold rings on a red heart . The green archway has a small twig with a green bud opening. The final blue arch shows clouds on a blue sky.

Stood in front of the wall is a small robed man he is holding what looks like a large white pearl in his hand.

This card shows all the colours of the chakras. It also shows two of the elements, earth (green shoots) and air (the sky). The coins show material reward, the rings point toward either love or partnerships. The green shoots speak of new beginnings and the sky of the universe. The man is holding the pearl of wisdom. So he is contemplating all his options before making choices and moving on.

There is movement and significant choices to be made. It will take hard work and effort to juggle all the options that are before me. These may be business decisions, money or other projects, but it is important to stay flexible yet focused. Use all the resources and help needed before making a choice. A new financial union or partnership may present itself.

The longer I take to make the choices and decisions I need to make at this time the longer it will take to reach the goals I have set myself in the material world.

The changes that are happening are not some random acts or coincidences but part of a positive and bigger picture. To avoid future conflicts and problems it is important to be aware of the synchronicity all around.

Oh, that is exactly how things are at the moment. It is interesting that everything is part of a bigger picture that I am not seeing at the moment. So I shall have to stand back and give myself time to really look at what is going on. I like the sound of some future partnership or some financial union.

The final card is the future

20 Truth - tarot major arcana judgement

This shows a large pair of jewellers balance scales side on. On the closest scale pan stands a figure in long robes. This figure has his back to the viewer and looks as though he is going on or has been on a journey. He carries a staff and has a bag on a belt at his waist.

He is looking towards an arched window which is in the background beyond the other empty scale pan. Through the window you can see the night sky and glittering stars with the suggestion of the swirl of a galaxy.

Despite the fact that the other scale pan is empty the scales appear to be balanced.

This card is about weighing things before moving on. About keeping a balanced view and seeking the truth in the situation.

It also speaks of spiritual awakening, clarity, the revelation of truth and cosmic consciousness. There is also the suggestion of a wake up call to focus the attention on just how far there is to go. There is a need to evaluate the past as well as the lessons learned, or still need to understand, so that there can be movement forward with a balanced spiritual mind.

There is a significant but carefully considered change to be made in a certain area of life but everything must be weighed and evaluated using personal wisdom and judgement. Whatever choices are made at this time will have far reaching consequences, more than is evident now.

There is a need to use the power of the universe as well as a little help from the physical world to assist in clarity and a shift in awareness along with new understanding. Be honest and trust what I know to be true.

This is a very deep card and thinking about the direction I am seeking from these cards I can see things are a little more serious than I thought.

So I am going to take their advice and think carefully about the decisions I am about to make. Without going into too much detail here there is a functional, emotional and spiritual side to the equipment I am using so this card is entirely appropriate as are all of them in this draw.

This is not going to be as simple as I thought and will take some time. Sounds as though the end result will be worth it though which is good to know!

Read First of 2 quick readings

Post  sally_flower on Fri May 29, 2009 4:29 pm

I have 2 questions of a similar vein to ask, but I have separated them because they are about 2 different scenarios.

So for the first one, I have a meeting tomorrow and I am going to be asked for my opinions, advice and help. I want to know how this will turn out.

I did a 3 card draw.

The first card I drew was 19 Light (tarot The Sun)

This shows a blonde haired lady in a white dress (looks a little like Marilyn Munroe) she is reaching up with both hands toward the light. She is surrounded by golden light and there are little explosions of light around her

This card speaks of the energy of the sun. I am heading towards the light and things are on the up. This is the reassurance that I am looking for. The qualities of this card are happiness, success, and illumination. The best card I could have drawn it seems!

It also reminds me that there will be light thrown onto problems that may be bothering me or perhaps even the others in the meeting. It also suggests that I need to keep a positive spin on anything thrown at me so that I can think clearly and not get bogged down in others problems.

Perhaps I should just stop at this card!.................

Let me turn over the next one then.

This card is 4 mental, Rest and Rejuvination (Tarot 4 Swords)

This card has an indigo border (third eye/intuition) and shows a man sitting cross legged head bowed, hands turned palm upwards as though receiving energy. He is sitting on a green forest floor surrounded by trees.

This card tells me that I should have some period of quiet reflection so that I can stand back and look at the situation so that I can see the wood for the trees.
Well I can see how this would apply. When asked for help I usually jump straight in and burn up a lot of mental energy trying to solve everything in a hurry. So this time I should maybe try doing a lot more listening and stand back for a few moments to take the time to think things through.

And finally

Card 0 New Beginnings (tarot The Fool)

This card shows a closed wooden door in front of which is a woman. She has gone down 3 steps and is about to step out off the third step into what looks like inner space. There is a vaporous cloud beneath her outstretched foot and beneath that is a view of the sunlit world as seen from space. There are stars and black space in the background. She is dressed in sandals, has a staff in her right hand which she is using as a walking stick. She also has a shoulder bag with a strap going across her body. She has a band around her forehead.

This card suggests a journey into the unknown. That I have to be brave and be 'me'. There are also important choices to be made and I need to use my own wisdom and knowledge and not try to conform to what is expected. I will have some help if I ask for it (the staff she is holding) and this could be an important step along my road of self development.

So to sum up the three cards seem to be saying that everything is going to be OK as long as I take time to think before I act and say what I really believe and not what others want to hear - diplomatically of course.

Very interesting!

I feel a lot more positive about this now

Later................ The meeting has come and gone. I feel very happy about how it went and have had some very positive feedback. I found that I was able to give some valuable input to the meeting and my intuition and universal guidance was working well. It helped that I actually went into the meeting feeling that everything was going to work out - thanks to the reading.
