Read second of the 2 readings

Post  sally_flower on Fri May 29, 2009 4:58 pm

OK now for the second reading. It's back to the machine again! I have been asked to use it in a test situation and I am feeling a little nervous about how things will turn out.

I drew another three cards

The first card is 3 spiritual (tarot 3 of wands)
This card shows a woman’s forearm descending from the top left corner of the card and a man’s forearm ascending from the bottom right. The arms are along side each other and the hands are grasping the others forearm just above the wrists.

The female arm is clothed in a green sleeve edged in gold. She is wearing a silver bangle. The male arm is powerful, and unclothed but there is a tattoo going around the forearm of rectangles and squares - looks like a ring of standing stones.

There are triangular banners in the background a blue one behind the woman's arm and a pink one flapping upwards behind the man’s arm. The blue banner is on a green ground and the pink banner is on an orange/yellow ground.

This card speaks of opposite strengths aiding each other. Which is interesting. This could be me and the subject or me and the universe? There are a lot of emotions in this card and that is quite appropriate, it also points to good results from the effort I have already put into learning about how to use this equipment. However there is also the rider that there is still much to learn (and how!). Apparently I need to watch for synchronicities which could lead to further things.

3 being the number of mental strength can be self destructive I need to keep an open mind so that I can recognise success if it does not come in the form I am expecting.

Card 2 is number 5 the throat Chakra.

This suggests that I am going to have to speak out and not hold back for fear of what others may think. It could also be that my voice needs to be heard and there are others who need to hear what I have to say. Interesting that the card New Beginnings in the last reading also pointed to the importance of being 'me' and being brave.

Card 3 is 2 Intuition (tarot the high priestess)

This card depicts a monk like figure. The hood of the robe has slipped back from the face to reveal a metal hair ornament - could be a tiara or part of a crown. Around the neck is a an Ankh (cross with a loop at the top) which is the symbol of life. The figure appears to have his eyes closed as though looking inside. In front of him is what looks like a mirror with galaxys and stars reflected in it. Behind the figure is a door which is ajar and a bright light shows around its edges. The background shows clouds and blue sky.

This card shouts out for me to use my intuition in this situation - very difficult under test conditions but it is what is needed. Intuition is my greatest aid in the circumstance and I need to find a way to get in touch with it even when under pressure. This card too points to synchronicities that are all around me and that I am ignoring.

Hmm not quite what I was expecting but these cards are saying similar things. To be myself, not try and second guess the outcome, not get overwhelmed by the occasion but use my intuition (which is ususally quite strong) to guide me through. Oh and to watch out for all the synchronicities that are going on. I think it's a positive message but it looks as though I am the biggest obstacle to the success of the outcome!

Sally:flower:

Later......... well the test is over, I have to wait for the results for a week but on the surface I think it went quite well. I was wrong footed a couple of times but managed to recover a bit of second guessing going on I didn't heed the advice too well :{ . Can't say the synchronicity was staring me in the face. Hopefully the result will work out to be as good as I hope. Fingers crossed!
Sally

A week has passed................ The machine is working very well in every other situation.
However, the test situation was 50/50 so have rerun the test and wait another week to see if the results are any better.

I am more hopeful now that I am beginning to know what I am doing. As with everything it is practice, practice, practice

Sally

sally_flower wrote:I have 2 questions of a similar vein to ask, but I have separated them because they are about 2 different scenarios.

So for the first one, I have a meeting tomorrow and I am going to be asked for my opinions, advice and help. I want to know how this will turn out.

I did a 3 card draw.

The first card I drew was 19 Light (tarot The Sun)

This shows a blonde haired lady in a white dress (looks a little like Marilyn Munroe) she is reaching up with both hands toward the light. She is surrounded by golden light and there are little explosions of light around her

This card speaks of the energy of the sun. I am heading towards the light and things are on the up. This is the reassurance that I am looking for. The qualities of this card are happiness, success, and illumination. The best card I could have drawn it seems!

It also reminds me that there will be light thrown onto problems that may be bothering me or perhaps even the others in the meeting. It also suggests that I need to keep a positive spin on anything thrown at me so that I can think clearly and not get bogged down in others problems.

Perhaps I should just stop at this card!.................

Let me turn over the next one then.

This card is 4 mental, Rest and Rejuvination (Tarot 4 Swords)

This card has an indigo border (third eye/intuition) and shows a man sitting cross legged head bowed, hands turned palm upwards as though receiving energy. He is sitting on a green forest floor surrounded by trees.

This card tells me that I should have some period of quiet reflection so that I can stand back and look at the situation so that I can see the wood for the trees.
Well I can see how this would apply. When asked for help I usually jump straight in and burn up a lot of mental energy trying to solve everything in a hurry. So this time I should maybe try doing a lot more listening and stand back for a few moments to take the time to think things through.

And finally

Card 0 New Beginnings (tarot The Fool)

This card shows a closed wooden door in front of which is a woman. She has gone down 3 steps and is about to step out off the third step into what looks like inner space. There is a vaporous cloud beneath her outstretched foot and beneath that is a view of the sunlit world as seen from space. There are stars and black space in the background. She is dressed in sandals, has a staff in her right hand which she is using as a walking stick. She also has a shoulder bag with a strap going across her body. She has a band around her forehead.

This card suggests a journey into the unknown. That I have to be brave and be 'me'. There are also important choices to be made and I need to use my own wisdom and knowledge and not try to conform to what is expected. I will have some help if I ask for it (the staff she is holding) and this could be an important step along my road of self development.

So to sum up the three cards seem to be saying that everything is going to be OK as long as I take time to think before I act and say what I really believe and not what others want to hear - diplomatically of course.

Very interesting!

I feel a lot more positive about this now

Sally:flower:

Later ..........well meeting over and I have had time to collect my thoughts.

It went very well, in fact better than I had hoped. I did take on board the thinking bit and It worked. I took the time to let others speak and air their points of view whilst I sat and listened.

I was amazed that I could see the synchronicities staring me in the face and this helped me meander through the tangle of the many different threads of what they were saying and put together a coherent plan and make worthwhile suggestions.

Just the test situation to go then at the end of next week - I shall try to resist kicking the machine - I think I would come off worse!!

Read Engagement

Post  sally_flower on Sun May 31, 2009 5:59 pm

An engagement was announced today in the family so I just had to do a draw for the happy couple!

I did a three card spread

first card

6 spiritual Victory and Success (tarot 6 of wands)

This shows a young man at the edge of a summit of rock. He has a heralds trumpet to his lips and is blowing a triumphant blast. The trumpet has an orange and red pennant hanging from it which is being swirled by the breeze. The stormy sky behind him is transformed in the top left corner where the sunlight has broken through the cloud in the direction that the trumpet is pointing. The light is dazzling bright.

This card refers to good news (well it is certainly that!). People may even be inspired to follow the example they have set. It is important that they stay grounded though (red and orange banner),

6 is the number of creativity, worry and a reminder to look after their health by making sure that they don't overdo things and get overtired.

The second card
4 mental Rest and Rejuvination (tarot 4 of swords)

This card has an indigo border (third eye/intuition) and shows a man sitting cross legged head bowed, hands turned palm upwards as though receiving energy. He is sitting on a green forest floor surrounded by trees.

This card is a reminder that in all the excitement of the moment and the plans that will no doubt being formulated for the future that a period of rest, rejuvenation and recuperation is in order and in fact is overdue. They need time to reflect, connect with the universe and take time to stand back so they can move forward with renewed energy.

the third card

1 emotional Love Begins (tarot ace of cups)
This picture shows two hands from two different people holding a golden bowl. The bowl is being tilted and the water is falling to the earth to form a pool which becomes a stream. There is a rainbow above the bowl and on the river banks there are trees growing and the grass and flowers look lush.

This card shows that love is the key to life (water) that love nourishes and nurtures everything around it. (ripples in the water). Love is eternal and carries a promise of outlasting everything (rainbow).

This card also speaks of joy, happiness and positive feelings that are going to overflow into their life. This is the perfect time to open their hearts to the loving energy of the universe.

What a lovely reading.

After the the excitement of the good news of the engagement and before the stress and anxiety that comes from planning a wedding - that has to happen so far in advance these days. There is a reminder to take some time out and recharge the batteries for the long haul. But above all this relationship has the universal and eternal love of the universe on their side and in their life. I could not wish anything more for them.I love you

Read one card draw

Post  sally_flower on Thu Jun 04, 2009 5:02 am

Just thrown into turmoil today as I have to organise an event for tomorrow(!) which I am finding very stressful and will generate an unknown return for the business.

So only time for one card draw to see how it is going to turn out.

I drew 9 spiritual (tarot 9 of rods)

This card shows a man in gold edged green robes (he could be a priest of some sort) with head bowed. Behind him bathed in green light is the statue of a kneeling Buddha (?) it has it's eyes closed and it's hands above it's head supporting the roof of the building. There is a golden light cutting across the card behind his back and a circle of light just visible above and behind his shoulders Surrounding this statue is a ring of purple light.

This card suggests that I am going to achieve some spiritual strength from whatever is happening or I must use my spiritual strength to help me at this time. The purple circle relates the crown chakra and the number 9 and the Buddha points more towards the humanitarian concern of this number, telling me that the desired outcome will require courage, discipline, stability and persistance.

There is the suggestion that I may be tired (how true!) but I mustn't think of giving up. I will have to dig deep into my inner reserves to achieve a good outcome. Apparently my life experiences have provided me with that inner strength and wisdom.

The card suggests that this is a time of experimentation and that these walks into the unknown are a necessary part of growing my inner knowledge and spirit for the future.

OK ........so that's the message I need to hear. Keep plugging away and doing what I do, no point getting over stressed because this is a necessary learning curve. I think there will be a positive outcome for the event but it is going to take some of my energy and persistence.

I do not like being out of my comfort zone by being thrown in at the deep end and thought I had reached the age of 'slowing down' Obviously not at the moment!!

Sally:flower:

Later.......... Phew the event is over and it certainly did take energy and persistence. It all went very well and some new business was generated. I found deliberately stepping outside the comfort zone produced some very positive results. Now it is time for some much needed R&R

I think the cards are right on the "not slowig down" part! Most of the people I know work harder after retirement! Middle age is the same way! As You get older, you work harder!

Read Three card general draw

Post  sally_flower on Sat Jun 06, 2009 2:15 pm

I thought I would just do a three card general draw about me

The first card referring to the recent past was

7 Triumph (tarot major arcana the chariot)

This card shows a cloaked rider riding hard with the sun at his back. His long hair is streaming out behind him and he has an intent focused look on his face. In his right hand he holds a scarlet pennant which also ripples out behind him. The horse has it’s ears pointed forwards and is a willing and eager mount.

This card confirms that in the recent past I have experienced the power of my inner spirit pushing me on. All the challenges that have been thrown in my path have been for my further development. My intuition along with my energy and hard work have given me the positive outcome I was seeking.

The number 7 also reminds me that I have been learning life lessons along the way.

The second card - the present

0 New Beginnings (tarot The Fool)

This card shows a closed wooden door in front of which is a woman. She has gone down 3 steps and is about to step out off the third step into what looks like inner space. There is a vaporous cloud beneath her outstretched foot and beneath that is a view of the sunlit world as seen from space. There are stars and black space in the background. She is dressed in sandals, has a staff in her right hand which she is using as a walking stick. She also has a shoulder bag with a strap going across her body. She has a band around her forehead.

This is all about my personal journey. It seems I have taken the first steps as indicated by the first card but it seems I still have to be brave enough to take a leap of faith, so that a significant inner change can happen.

There are choices to be made and things to be considered but I need to keep my individuality, an open mind and not to become to serious about life. Apparently I will recognise this time in the future as a turning point towards a new direction in my life.

Finally the third card - the future

chakra 6 Third Eye

This card is the indigo of the third eye chakra. The symbol is a triangle within a circle at either side of the circle are the top part of 2 leaf / wing shapes.

6 is the number of creativity, creation (and when negative destruction). It is the number of the worrier and the home loving person. There is a great need for rest to prevent illness. The words associated with this chakra are ‘I see’

It refers to intuition, inner seeing, clarivoyance and the higher levels of consciousness. It is linked to the throat and crown chakras and assists with psychic and inner guidance.

To keep this chakra open and in good order it is necessary to be in balance either through walking meditation, Tai chi, breathing exercises or yoga.

Intuition is something I use and rely on a lot. It seems that I must look after the third eye chakra in the near
future. Getting enough sleep and keeping the meditation up would be a
start!

This is a very positive reading. I particularly like New Beginnings as life is all about change. I will have to be careful to treat it as an adventure and not as something to be resisted.

Beautiful reading, Sally flower! You are so eloquent with these cards, it really is beautiful!

Those necessary leaps of faith can be daunting, but they're also usually big lessons, and the rewards are always worth it. I get the feeling from this reading that you're about to step up to the next level of your psychic work, and I think it's these cards that are helping to open you up.

Thank you for sharing your journey with the cards!

Read one card draw

Post  sally_flower on Wed Jun 10, 2009 6:11 pm

Just a one card draw this time. A short question.

Am I heading in the right direction?

The card I drew was Intuition (tarot -the High Priestess.)

This card depicts a monk like figure. The hood of the robe has slipped back from the face to reveal a metal hair ornament - could be a tiara or part of a crown. Around the neck is an Ankh (cross with a loop at the top) which is the symbol of life. The figure appears to have her eyes closed as though looking inside. In front of her is what looks like a mirror with galaxies and stars reflected in it. Behind the figure is a door which is ajar and a bright light shows around its edges. The background shows clouds and blue sky.

It seems that that I already know the answer to the question. If I trusted my intuition the answer would be a resounding 'YES'!

Although I have not been ignoring my intuition I have found myself in a situation where things are going so smoothly that I find it hard to believe.

There have been lots of examples of synchronicity and I find as I notice them remarkable things have happened. It is just the doubt/fear that is hampering things.

This card also gives some good advice and that is to turn inwards for the answers. It also gives the reassurance that everything is beginning to slot into place and everything is happening at the right time. I just have to keep and open mind.

I could not have asked for a better card as a reply. More synchronicity! So I shall keep doing what I am doing and try to be less skeptical. Easier said than done Smile

Read 7 card general reading

Post  sally_flower on Sat Jun 20, 2009 4:01 pm

Just a general reading this time.

Card 1 The recent past

Deception and Envy (7 of swords)

This card shows a man dressed in a bright green tunic with 3 gold vertical wavy lines decorating the front. This man wears a winged mask which he is lifting up to reveal his face. He stands against a green background.

It seems in my recent past I have been learning a life lesson (7) and someone has been envious(green) or been deceiving me (the mask)

I have not been aware of this. Maybe they wore such a good mask I did not notice!

Card 2 The present

Sacral Chakra

This card speaks of creativity, sexuality, emotions and desires. It has the words "I want" attached to it. It will have an influence on all the other cards.

My creativity is definitely lacking at the moment and my energy does need some attention. Apparently hula hooping would help or dancing - I wonder if Wii fit would do??

Card 3 Hopes and Fears

Sacrifice (the Hanged Man)

This card shows the picture of a beautiful, dark haired, strong woman rising out of murky brown waters. She is wearing a white dress and has her arms raised above and behind her head with the palms pressed together She is arched backwards and is following the curve of the rainbow which lights up the flower in her hair in spectrum colours. Around her arms is twisted a white wrap the ends of this wrap has leaf shaped holes in it and the leaf shaped pieces of fabric are falling into the water. The clouds are shaped like white blossoms.

This card speaks of change and transformation. I will have to leave things behind so that I can move on. Intuition will be needed and patience

OK. Well I can see why that encompasses my hopes - transformation - and my fears - change. So I will have to focus on the transformation bit.

Card 3 The unexpected

The base Chakra

Base chakra has the words ‘I have’ attached to it. This chakra is about the tribal identity, earthly issues, survival, financial security, the physical body, food safety and shelter.

It seems the unexpected is that I already have what I need to succeed but I need to help things along by eating a good diet and light exercise to keep the outside and inside healthy. (here's the Wii fit again!)

Card 5 Direction or 'flavour' of the reading

Destiny (wheel of Fortune)

This card shows a circle of 6 aspects of the same woman. The faces are looking in different directions and the 2 pictures at the bottom of the circle are just outline drawings. The 7th image is looking out of the card at the viewer and is superimposed upon the other 6 She has a glowing light around her and has her fingers laced together in front of her heart.

What a wonderful card to draw! Good luck and fortune are now in my favour. It seems that a cycle of change, success and growth is imminent. Opportunities whether expected or unexpected will be knocking at my door.

I will be finding solutions to problems but I need to let go of old issues. I am being given the chance to understand life lessons and gain wisdom from the past, So I can move on in a positive direction. I need to do this before the wheel of fortune turns again.

Card 6 The near Future

Passion Ignited (ace of wands)

This card shows the picture of a woman. She has her head back and her eyes closed. There is a look of bliss on her face. From the solar plexus and heart area there is what looks like a green bowl full of firet, he flames stretching upwards. In the flames is dancing a small figure. There is a circle of light which surrounds her and there are diagonal blue wavy lines coming from her back like wings.

This card signifies new beginnings, ideas, revalations and exciting adventures awaiting me in my personal or business life. Creative endeavours, enthusiasm, energy and a renewd spiritual strength is at an all time high. The power of spirit is flowing and with it comes a new sense of purpose. I can use it to move forward and set up a strong foundation for the future.

Gosh, here it is again, change moving on and and exciting future!

Final card The far future

Moving On (6 of Swords)

This card shows the picture of a cloaked man he looks as though he is stepping out on a journey from a marbled pillar hall which is dark into the sunlight. There are green leaves falling on him from outside which turn the colour of autumn as they fall inside the hall, In his hand he is holding what looks like a compass on a chain.

This card signifies leaving the old and the past behind and stepping forward into the light and the new. The compass signifies intuition and relying on that to find the right course to follow.

It seems too that I may be about to go on a journey perhaps crossing water or even moving abroad and calmer waters are ahead. I will be more settled and less worried, synchronistic events will bring the right conditions and introduce the right people into my life.

Oh my word! All these cards seem to lead on from one another. The overwhelming sense is of change for the better, good things to come, dealing with/ learning from/leaving behind past issues and using lots of intuition. and moving forward. Well if I needed a positive reading this is certainly it.

Nearly all the cards I have been drawing for these readings have proved to be accurate........ Which I find amazing. So I shall believe that this reading too is right and keep heading in the direction I am going.

Right well I'm back from designing cards - what a great time that was and I have just signed up for a course that could lead to great things in the future so decided to do a 5 card star spread

The first card - the nature of the question is

4 Physical (4 of coins)

Firm foundation. This says that the course will establish a firm foundation for what I am thinking of doing in the future and suggests that there is some wealth both spiritual and physical attached to what I am planning to do.

Well that is a very positive start.

The second card - the reason for the question

Is 2 Emotional (2 of cups)

Spiritual Union

This is the hope that the outcome of this course will be positive and that the business relationships and kindred spirits will come together to help me do what I need to do

The third Card - Contributing factor or additional information

21 The Universe (World)

Oh my this card tells me that this course is the right thing to do and the universe is on my side! Fantastic! Just gets better!

The Fourth card - the answer to the question or advice

4 emotional - (4 cups)
Discontent and boredom

OK I am going to take this as advice. I am being impatient and want to be at the end of the course now! So I must guard against that. Also if I don't do the course then I would not move forward and that would lead to the boredom shown here.

Fifth card - The Outcome

7 Triumph (Chariot)

WOW! This is urging me to keep going towards my goal, not to get side tracked and focus on what I want. The end result will be that I will meet an future challenges much easier and better.

Well with all that positivity how can I not win through? - despite a lot of extra work that it entails and I have no idea how I am going to find the time to fit it all in!!

Shall I give up house work altogether??LOL
