5 Card Draw - What's with the tooth?
I know I've mentioned in another thread that I was having problems with a recent root canal. The tooth got infected, and after two weeks of antibiotics, impeccable dental hygene, swallowing whole garlic cloves, and employing every form of spiritual help I know, the infection still hasn't totally cleared up--although thankfully, it is a little better.
So...I decided to ask the Pages of Shustah...
What's going on with the tooth?

The first card is Taurus, the Card of the Bull. It represents stubbornness and things we cling to. Obviously this is referring to the stubborn infection, but on a spiritual level I think it's saying that I may be clinging to a something that is manifesting as the infection in my outward reality. Hmmmm....
The next card is The Lord of Contemplation. I had to laugh when I saw him here because he's got a hand against the side of his face like he has a toothache! What really cracks me up is that my tooth is on the same side he's holding!
This card represents deep thinking, so I must be holding onto a thought form or idea that's keeping me from healing the infection. The idea of trying positive affirmations just occurred to me. That's the one thing that I haven't tried yet!
Next come two cards of the Red Suit. This does not make me happy at all because the Red cards are the
's of the Shustah, and they tell me that the infection will probably get worse before it gets better.
The Little Foxes represents deception or something hidden. I'm obviously not aware of what's blocking my mind and body connection to heal the dang tooth, but on a more serious note, I may not yet be aware of the true source of the infection.
The black cat shows up next, and he's usually a warning. He represents the need to take special care of the situation or the problem will certainly worsen. Oh, hell! Not a good card to see here. I'm trying desperately to save the tooth since it's toward the front, and I'd require a bridge to span the gap--either that or sport a toothless smile for the rest of my days! Uh, no, I don't think so.
Thank the good lord above that the final card is Blue! The Diamond is a great card to end the row because one of it's meanings is "healing!"
This means that I can probably save the tooth if I continue to follow the dentists advise, AND work hard to figure out what thought pattern or emotion I'm holding onto that's manifesting in the nasty infection. It looks like I have my work cut out for me, but I'm up for the challenge. Wish me luck! :pig:

re:Teeth!
I very much wish you luck! I've had root canals - not any fun!
The cards really laid it out didn't they? so it looks like a bit more trouble to come, but you get there in the end....
I wanted to share a thought with you. Anytime that I have had serious problems with my teeth, (my husband and my late mother found this to be true too) there was usually something going on that I felt was shaking up my sense of security. Most times when we were going through a major change, one of our teeth would end up in trouble, as teeth can denote foundations.
So if you're going through anything stressful, that has you feeling more unsure than usual, affirmations about how you are safe and supported would be beneficial.
Just a thought!

Re: 5 Card Draw - What's with the tooth?
Hi Spiritsong,
Thank you! That's exactly what I've been doing. I got out my worn copy of You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay, and I've been working those affirmations.
Although I'm almost afraid to say anything yet, I do notice a definite improvement over the last couple of days. I have another appointment with the dentist on Monday, so the weekend should prove whether or not the affirmations are doing the trick.
You are absolutely right, though. I have been going through some major stress with costly home repairs and relationship challenges, so there's no doubt my 'foundation' is feeling shaky.

Hi Kapherus!
So... how is your tooth now?
I really enjoyed reading your interpretations of your 5 card draw.
That helps me to understand more!
Thank you for sharing and I hope that your tooth did get better and
the affirmations worked.
Love and Light,
Diane
