Back to three cards.... lol
I am going to stick with three for a while, until I at least develop a better understanding of the Shustah...
Today I got:
Premise - The open door (green 7)
Problem/Situation - the spinning top (yellow 9)
Solution - Cancer (black 4)
The open door is about physical release from a restriction or limitation
The spinning top is about an unexpected physical happening or reaction
Cancer is about children home and family (moodiness too?)
I think it's kind of funny that feeling restricted seems to keep comimg up. Also, this is the second time I got Cancer (that sounds very bad, sorry about that). What I don't understand though is restrictions and family. I certainly love freedom (which I have little of these days) but I would never trade my family for freedom... Maybe I am just reading this one wrong..
I am so confused lately! I haven't even been doing well with my lenormand throws.

Hi Contessa,
I think at times we all feel burdened by responsibilities toward work, toward friends-- and even toward family. I don't think that means we would trade any of it (especially our families) for freedom. The cards may be saying that you're too wrapped up in these responsibilities, and you're not allowing yourself the freedom you need to self actualize.
Yes, Cancer is ruled by the Moon, so it represents the emotions, so it can denote moodiness, receptiveness, feelings, intuition, imagination, etc.
An alternate interpretation of your spread today...
An opportunity (open door) comes unexpectedly (surprise) for a family member (Cancer). Cancer could be your mother, or it could refer to children. It could also represent someone born under the sun sign Cancer. Or it could simply be an unexpected opportunity that stirs up some emotions or sparks your imagination!
Hope this helps,
Kaph

I forgot to mention that I love your interpretation. I am listening for a knock, lol...
