Occult Cross / Will I get the job?

Hi Kapherus!
Will you help me with this Occult Cross spread? I have applied for a special education teacher position at a private 24/7 school/home facility for abused children. The cards don't look promising...
The Card That Crosses represents the main problem or concern the individual will face during the period covered by the reading.
Taurus Black 2 It relates to the 2nd house - money. They can't pay me what I need or want? I am very slow to anger so I don't think it has anything to do with the characteristics of Taurus.
The Center Card reveals the best way to deal with the problem or concern.
The Stars - Blue 10. Accept the advantages offered. Instead of giving them a counter-offer, maybe I should just take what is offered?
The Card on the Left denotes the past energies and influences that created, or led to, the current situation.
The Unicorn - Green 3 - Uncontrolled force... ??? I don't know what this means. I have waited until the last minute to get a full time job hoping the part time would be enough but it wasn't.
The Card Above represents outside energies and influences that must be dealt with regarding the issue at hand.
The Lord of Benevolence - Blue 14 - I need to get emotional support from the people who I interview with?
The Card Below reveals the energies and influences the individual has control over, and the strengths that can be brought to bear on the problem.
The Child and the Puppy - Blue 2
I love children and I need to stress that in the interview... if I get an interview.
The Card on the Right denotes the final outcome, or how the problem is handled and resolved.
Winged Winter Red 13
They listen - (interview) but won't help. I don't get the job.
Kapherus, is there another way of interpreting this that has a good ending? I think I would like to work at this facility.

I got a letter that they have already chosen... and it wasn't me.
I guess my interpretation was right.

I'm sorry, Diane. I'm not sure how I missed your original post. I've been missing other posts as well, so I'm thinking maybe the new-post notification thingy is not working all the time.
Anyway, yes... Your reading is right on track. Winged Winter as the final outcome usually indicates rejection, being ignored or turned away. The Green Unicorn in the position of past influence can indicate that you did not have enough (or the right kind of) experience for the position. In other words, they probably chose an applicant with more experience.
I'm sorry you didn't get the position! You did an outstanding job on the reading though!

Thanks for the input! Can The Unicorn also mean maybe that I put my name in the hat too late? I have over twenty years experience teaching special education, so I don't think it would be about "not" having enough experience.
I know the "right position" will open up for me. I'm just ready for it NOW!

Hi Diane,
It's possible. The position of past influence provides background information that supports the final outcome. Green Unicorn in this position indicates a lack of preparedness.
Also, although you may be qualified for the position, someone else may have had more of the type of experience they were looking for-- specialization, etc.
I agree--- the right position will most definitely open up for you!
