Card Assignments

Good day my friends!

So we are the few who will foray into the design world. You may receive PMs from me from time to time for important things which I need to draw your attention to.

First things first, we are in total 9 artists. There are several ways that we can do this:

1. We can all commit to one card each, and those who are willing to do more can let me know;

2. We can all commit to TWO cards each, as if I add in both Jokers, there are 18 cards we can do;

3. We can consider doing more cards and divide them up accordingly. I say this hesitantly because we do want to keep this project managable and on track.

None of the above precludes anyone from submitting a design for the card back, of course.

Please let me know what your vote is by replying to this post!

Only 9 of us on the forum was willing to play? wow...I would have thought more would have joined in. Maybe because it's Summer time. If we go ahead and get a start, I bet others will want to join in on the Fall.
I've been absent because of dental problems...just haven't felt social at all- chronic pain really does a number on you!

Even so, I'd commit to 2 cards to begin with

So far, the consensus is obviously two cards each - I am definitely in agreement with this. So I guess the question should be - Is there anyone who would prefer not to commit to two cards?

In addition, now would be the time to ask: Does anyone have a particular card they feel drawn to interpret, or an idea or inspiration they'd like to run with?

I've already done a test run on the Jack of Clubs, so I'd like to stick with that one.

I was thinking about trying a Jack of Hearts also; but it's not critical for me or anything.

We're still going for face cards and aces right now, correct?

I don't mind which cards I do. I took some time to brainstorm some ideas for all the cards............. but you got me! I didn't do the jokers!

I shall think about them too, they could be fun to do!

I've missed everyone. I've tried to keep up with posting on my blogs, but that's about it. Hopefully, next week I'll start getting this much needed dental work done.

I'd probably lean towards the Jack of Diamonds for one of them, and the King of Spades for the other, if I had a choice; but I'm open!

You are correct - Faces, Aces, and now Jokers. I'm going to veto your J♥ though because I'd like to vary the pips and suits for everyone - can't make it too easy, now can I?

I would be willing to do the 4 Aces if that helps? Only if others want to stick to the one card deal. Otherwise I am willing to do whatever is needed. I can't wait to get started!

With the help of the Random.org Playing Card Shuffler, taking into consideration any requests made, and moving a couple of things around to ensure no duplicates of suit or pip, here we have it:
